GP Consultations

At Edinburgh GP, we offer flexible appointment lengths so you can choose the consultation that is right for your needs.

All consultations are with experienced GPs and can be booked online (with the exception of short follow-up appointments).

GP CONSULTATIONS

Consultation options and fees

  • Focused Consultation Up to 30 minutes – £180
    Ideal for a relatively simple ‘single medical issue’ or as a longer follow-up consultation.
  • Standard Consultation Up to 45 minutes – £250
    Recommended for first appointments or when you would like to discuss more than one medical issue in detail.
  • Extended Consultation Up to 60 minutes – £300
    Designed for complex cases or when you need extra time for a thorough assessment and management plan.
  • Follow up Consultation* Up to 15 minutes – £100
    *Follow-up only (not bookable online).
    These short consultations are for ongoing care and arranged directly by our clinic team or your doctor.

Please note there is no VAT on our fees.

Booking information

  • 15 minute follow up consultations can only be arranged by our front of house team or your doctor.
  • Our Focused 30 minute, Standard 45 minute and Extended 60 minute consultations are all available to book online.

GP Home Visit

A home visit costs £400 for the first hour including travel then £300 per hour pro rata.  Please call us to make an appointment.

Health Screens

Our Core Health Screen is from £550 (fees may apply for any add on tests or modules that are required).

Visas and Other Health Assessment Forms

Visas and Personal Medical form requirements vary greatly. Please email us your forms and we will be happy to provide you with a quote. An indicative cost would be £150 to £300 for clinic time plus the cost of any blood tests and investigations.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellations can be made via your client portal, email [email protected] or by phone.

Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund of deposit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will receive a 50% refund. Please note the full deposit will be forfeited in the event of a missed appointment.

Medical letters and correspondence

All correspondence is charged at a pro rata rate of £300 per hour. A simple guide  of what to expect is outlined below. Fees may be waived if the prescription of letter can be completed within the consultation window.
