Health screening is a useful way to assess and monitor your health and either obtain the reassurance that you need, to plan for the future or to identify and manage health issues.
We offer four health screen packages tailored to men and women; but we have an almost unlimited number of options that we can add on to each health screen, tailoring it to your needs.

We will interpret outcomes in the context of your unique circumstances.
We firmly believe that we are set apart from others offering health screening through personalised interpretation of the results with our Doctors. Blood results on their own with no context or consideration of the patients unique circumstances are of limited value and on occasion results that fall out within the normal band are, in fact, fine in the context of your broader health.
Health screening can support health promotion and maintenance
Most of our patients are thankfully in good health. Our Doctors all share a passion for health promotion and performance coaching. As such our core health screening package has up to 90 minutes of face to face Clinician time and some of this time can be spent on lifestyle coaching if you and your Clinician deem it suitable.
Understanding and monitoring your own health over time can provide an excellent form of health promotion
Often it is not discrete screening outcomes themselves which are important but trends over time, even where results still fall within the “normal” band. You and your Doctor can agree appropriate frequency and focus of monitoring based on your own circumstances.
We will take responsibility or your outcomes
Where we identify that further treatment or investigation will be beneficial, we will always support you and provide this ourselves through our on-going relationship with you, or provide referrals within our extensive network, whether that be specialist Doctors, Psychiatrists, Physiotherapists or Psychologists.
Managing your own health outcomes
A health screen is a great way to start to take control of your health, and a great way to begin our relationship together at our Clinic as it gives us a thorough picture of you and your health at that moment in time. This means we are better able to provide care for you if you return at a later date for consultations with one of our team.
Health Screening Options
The range of services and screening we can offer as part of your health screen is vast. Our Doctors will help you to understand your options and give you their advice on any bolt on services we feel may be beneficial to you. We have built four packages for men and women based on our experience of what matters most to our clients both from our and their perspectives. The wording below on suitability is guidance only to support your decision making.
Core Health Screen (female)
Guidance on suitability;
- Women under the age of 40; or
- Women who are not yet peri menopausal; or
- Those looking for an introduction to health screening; or
- Those having a follow up health screen.
What to expect:
Health Screen Questionnaire issued at time of booking for online completion and return in advance of appointment;
60 minute face to face time with our Doctor;
Blood tests taken during your health screen appointment;
If required, the Doctor may propose a 15 minute follow up appointment post receipt of your tests;
Report explaining the outcomes of your health screen, including blood testing and proposed plan for you to take forward;
If any referrals are required, we will send these within 1 day of your appointment.

Core Health Screen (male)
Guidance on suitability;
- Men under the age of 40; or
- Those looking for an introduction to health screening; or
- Those having a follow up health screen.
What to expect:

60 minute face to face time with our Doctor;
Blood tests taken during your health screen appointment;

Core Health Screen Plus (female)
Guidance on suitability;
- Women over the age of 40; or
- Women who are or may be menopausal or post menopausal; or
- Those with specific concerns looking for a more detailed health screen.
What to expect:
Health Screen Questionnaire issued at time of booking for online completion and return in advance of health screen appointment;
Preliminary 30 minute appointment in advance of your health screen to initiate screening including blood tests;
75 minute face to face time with our Doctor once blood testing results are back to conduct full health screen;
Report explaining the outcomes of your health screen, including blood testing and proposed plan for you to take forward;
If any referrals are required, we will send these immediately after your report is prepared.

Core Health Screen Plus (male)
Guidance on suitability;
- Men over the age of 40; or
- Those with specific concerns looking for a more detailed health screen.
What to expect:
Health Screen Questionnaire issued at time of booking for online completion and return in advance of health screen appointment;
Preliminary 30 minute appointment in advance of your health screen to initiate screening including blood tests;
75 minute face to face time with our Doctor once blood testing results are back to conduct full health screen;

If any referrals are required, we will send these immediately after your report is prepared.

Additional tests
There are many additional tests that we can carry out for you depending on your needs. As an example, some of the more common additional tests are listed below. Additionally, you can upgrade your Core Health Screen with any of those already listed on Core Health Screen Plus.
Please note that all add-on’s will incur a cost, we will ensure that you are aware of pricing prior to any screening/examination.
- Lung cancer. Screening with high resolution CT chest
- QFIT (stool occult blood test)
- QCAL (Stool occult blood and inflammatory protein marker)
- Advanced Gastric symptom screening package which includes blood tests for H pylori, coeliac antibodies. Faecal blood, inflammatory bowel markers and pancreatic insufficiency markers
- Segmental MRI screening
- Ultrasound screening for structural heart defects
- Ultrasound screening for pelvic pathology (women)
- CT angiography
- Helicobacter pylori stool test (an infection related to chronic stomach symptoms)
- Coeliac Antibodies
- STI screen
- Enteric pathogen test (stool infection test)
- Antimullerian Hormone (Fertility test)
- Large bowel colonoscopy screening
- Liver scans for fibrosis or Metabolic illness associated hepatic steatosis (fatty liver)
- Sleep apnoea and other sleep disorder screening.
- Targeted genetic cancer risk screening tests (to be thoroughly considered before undertaking!)
- Exercise Threshold Tests, VO2 max testing
- Weight loss modules which may include further follow up and drugs such as Mounjaro are an option.

Please Note:
- If you would like to book a Core Plus Health Screen but are not able to attend the Clinic in advance of your health screen appointment for a separate preliminary and would like bloods taken during your health screen, please call us to arrange this appointment.
- We generally schedule Core Plus Health Screens in person with you when you come in for your preliminary (once the results of your screening tests are with us). Appointments for these are generally available within 3 – 7 business days of your preliminary. If you would like to discuss availability for this full appointment before booking your preliminary, please call us.
